Bryant University was one of the first universities to create analytics courses for undergraduates. Our course offerings have now expanded and we now offer a Bachelor's degree in Data Science as well.


            With the support of Hewlett-
            Packard, Bryant has also just
​            opened our 3D Data Visualization lab!

Bryant University is proud to announce the 2019 Exploring Data Science and the Art of Visualization Summer Camp for High School Girls. The camp is offered on the Bryant University campus and is from June 24 - June 28, 2019, 9:00am-4:00pm daily. We want to help young ladies learn more about these fields, so this camp is FREE


Space is limited, so be sure to get your application in as soon as possible. Qualified students are admitted to the class on a first come first served basis.

WHY DATA SCIENCE?

Data scientists are valuable, and with a looming skills shortage on the horizon as more and more businesses and sectors start working with big data, this value is only going to increase.


In practical terms, this means graduates with analytics skills will be able to command higher salaries and enjoy their pick of the available jobs.

            DATA VISUALIZATION
Data visualization is the presentation of data in a pictorial or graphical format. It enables decision makers to see analytics presented visually, so they can grasp difficult concepts or identify new patterns.


With interactive visualization, you can take the concept a step further by using technology to drill down into charts and graphs for more detail, interactively changing what data you see and how it’s processed.
